Dr. Cleo Carrillo (Eula Valdez) is a famous dermatologist, whose roster of high-profile clients include beauty queen turned society empress Marilou Cobarrubias (Ruffa Gutierrez) and socialite Betchay Magbutay-Cavendish (Carmi Martin). Cleo is married to a cardiologist, Dr. Vincent Carrillo. But her success comes with zealous detractors and nasty lawsuits, something which Marilou can relate to.
Marilou is widowed by her aged and ultra-rich husband, and her daughter-in-law, Amanda dela Vega, has arranged that she gets nothing except a small condo unit and a business on the verge of bankruptcy. Now, Marilou has to learn to get by on her own, something which her cousin, Tere Villanueva (Iza Calzado), has been doing since she was young.
Tere works as a nurse, and becomes particularly close to an old woman named Amelia Marcelino. A promising boxer, he had knocked-out punches that brought him to fame. He never lose a boxing fight. He is Edwin Valero of Valencia, Venezuela, married and brutally killed his wife in a hotel room. He admits killing his wife at the front desk clerk of the hotel room where they are staying. He was immediately brought to jail but several hours after imprisonment, he hanged himself in his prison cell with his trousers and was dead.
Valero, a friend to Manny Pacquiao was able to visit him in General Santos City during his birthday. He gladly thanked the Filipinos for the warm welcome. The People's Champ was surprised to hear the tragic event. He encourage everyone to pray for the Valero's family. Even the kins of the Valero's are shocked to what has happened to the couple. I think Rubi, the teleserye is not doing well in the ratings. People around the neighborhood do not watch Rubi. According to them, the time slot is too late at night and the story not very attractive. If they think it is worth watching the TV because of the warm temperature at night and mostly everyone couldn't sleep. Queen Seon Deok is the best answer. Of course that is only applicable to those without DVD players. At least, we can flashback the ancient happenings in China. Watching Queen Seon Deok in educational, we can learn a lot about Chinese culture before. We can associate it with the present traditions and culture of the now generation. As we can see there are more similarities in the traits, beliefs and customs of their people before and today. Their traditions are amazing and consistent. Their royalties cannot absolutely enjoy their position despite the blessings. They have to abide with the rule of law which they consider sacred and holy.
It was fun beyond the expectations of the people of Negros that a funny campaign experience will happen. The rally was that of Aquino-Roxas Ticket. Kris was with them and she was carrying Baby James, her 2 year-old son. She was telling Baby James to say hello to the people down the stage. The baby star abide with his mom, said Hello to the people then all of a sudden uttered the name "Villar" to the audience. Kris laughed and instructed Baby James to say Noynoy instead.
