Watch the NBA Asia Challenge 2009 on Friday, September 11,2009 at the Araneta Coliseum, Manila, Philippines. NBA Asia Challenge 2009 is the most ambitious and the largest NBA event ever in Asia. It will feature NBA Legends teaming up with the top NBA Development League (D-League) players to play 3 friendship games in Korea and Philippines.
Coming over to play here in Manila, Philippines are 7-time NBA Champion Robert Horry, All-Star Vlade Divac, 5-time NBA All-Star Tim Hardaway and 2-time Slam Dunk champion and 9-time NBA All-Star Dominique Wilkins. Coaching them will be 6-time NBA champion and 6-time MVP Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. They will play against PBA All-stars which include Alvin Patrimonio, Allan Caidic, Ronnie Magsanoc, Benjie Paras, and Kenneth Duremdes.
The Dunking Divas, the dance troupe of the New Jersey Nets and Sly the Silver Fox, the team’s mascot , are set to provide fans with authentic NBA style in-game entertainment.
