Some Pinoy famous celebrities cried for help while other serve as a hero during the downpour of Typhoon Ondoy (international named "Ketsana") last Saturday in major areas in Metro Manila, Rizal Province, Quezon City, Pasig City and Marikina City.
Eva Fonda Star Cristine Reyes is trapped for almost 12 hours on the roof of her house in Provident Village, Marikina City. Her area is greatly affected of the flood . In telephone interview in news reports, Cristine Reyes tearfully asked to rescue them. She was with her mother,five year old and three year old niece/nephew, her sister,personal assistant ,driver and some of her neighbors. Cristine was thankful that she was rescued by her friend Richard Gutierrez, also known as Zorro and Captain Barbell of Philippine Television. Both of them had a upcoming film Patient X soon will be showing in theaters.
Gerald Anderson, also known as Tiagong Akyat or David Garcia or JR, served as a "hero" in his village. He jumped in flood waters, despite the danger, to help his neighbors that might be trapped in their homes in Quezon City.

In the Buzz, last Sunday, it was also reported that K Brosas with her children, Jean Garcia and daughter her Jennica ,Carmina Villaroel with her family , Ogie Diaz Also also with his family were also trapped in their homes as flood waters began to rise. Couples Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo help their friend Gladys Reyes, husband Christopher Roxas and their children in Vista Verde who were also trapped in flood. When Gladys texted Judy Ann for help, she immediately come to the rescue.
Jericho Rosales and Raymart Santiago rescue their neighbors Loyola Grand Villas, Marikina by using their surf board. Star magic celebrity Claudine Barreto also managed to help.
