The whole Philippines is overwhelming with joy and pride for having our bet for Miss Universe, within the magic five (5). Even though she didn't make it to the top, it's just okey because everybody is worthy winning, our own Maria Venus Raj is 4th runner up. Ms Ukraine Anna Poslavska, 3rd runner up, Ms Australia Jesinta Campbell, 2nd runner up. Miss Australia garnered the Miss Congeniality Special Award, Ms. Jamaica Yendi Phillips get a close 1st rnner up and the most beautiful woman in the universe today is Ms Mexico Jimena Navarrete. To Venus, who dedicates her award to Melody, Bb. Pilipinas 2009, our heartfelt Congratulations. As we remember Melody Gersbach is the inspiring spirit behind the success of venus in the pageant. She died recently due to a car accident in Camarines Sur.
