Together with Jason's close friends, Marlene Aguilar Ivler showed her protest against the Department of Justice by marching along the streets going to the Quezon City Regional Trial Court. She believes it is not proper for the police authorities to transfer Jason from the hospital to jail. His internal organs has not been totally healed and an infection is possible to happen putting her son's life in danger. However, Jason's doctor declared he can be released from the hospital and face the court trials waiting for him.
