A new virus targets the 400 million users of Facebook Hackers have been sending malicious software via e-mail attachments to the users of the said social networking site. This spam e-mail contains an attachment and once it is opened, it downloads different kinds of malicious software. This software could steal passwords from a user’s bank account and also gather sensitive information.
Facebook warns its users to delete the e-mail and inform other users to be careful on received e-mails. Millions of spams have already been sent by the hackers since March 16. Facebook users should be careful of this line from the virus-containing e-mail : “ Facebook password reset confirmation customer support.”
