Feast of the Black Nazarene - January 9, 2010

As expected, million of devotees followed the procession of the Black Nazarene from the Quirino Grandstand (Luneta) back to where it belongs, the Quiapo Church. The journey took them 14 hours even more. The procession left Luneta at 7:00 a.m. and arrived in Quiapo Church almost midnight. It was a pilgrimage of struggle, hope and strong belief that after a long suffering, good things will happen.

Two individuals sacrificed their lives. For their families, life was not wasted, it was for a good cause. They will continue their devotion no matter what it takes. This devotion, they will carry to their graves.
