This time the festivities can be more interesting than before. For the first time there will be a competition for the Model "Ate" Warrior. As usual, the Dinagyang 2010 will be highlighted by the Search for Miss Dinagyang 2010 to be held in Collegio de San Jose, Jaro, Iloilo City on January 17, 2010.
There will be 12 candidiate to vie for the title. As for the contest proper for the open category, 10 competting tribes will be show their dancing and technical skills.
The Dinagyang Festival is being celebrated by the people of Iloilo City and Province in honor of Senior Sto. Niño, thanking him for the good graces and abundance all the year round. As of this moment, all hotels, motels and lodging houses in the vicinity are all fully booked. There are boarding houses that accomodates transient boarders anyway, so visit is not impossible.
