For the first time in his long and illustrious career, the Philippines’ Comedy King, Dolphy plays his dream role of being a priest – and a wacky one but inspiring one at that.
Meet Father Jeremiah Jerome Montes, or Fr. Jejemon.
Fr. Jejemon is a new priest in a town called Parmbil. He is sent by his superiors to help out the resident parish priest in town who has trouble with some of his parishoners.
One of them is Mr. Perez, a businessman who has a golden heart but a bad temper. He is also involved in several charity works in town.
Then there’s Violeta, a kind lady who fears that they might be evicted out of their abode because of Fr. Jejemon.
In spite of them, Father Jejemon seeks to connect with the people in the community.
And soon, he endears himself to the community through his unconventional ways of preaching, generosity and good attitude.
With laughter, music and a lot of fun moments, Father Jejemon is the must-see film for kids and the whole family this Metro Manila Film Festival season!
