Incumbent Governor of Batangas, Vilma Santos and husband Ralph Recto are both disappointed with the gestures of Serge Osmeña who was demonstrative about his disliking for the couple. Vilma in an interview said that they have been invited by the Liberal Party to join forces with them for the complete change. They were not the ones who persuaded the party to accept them that's why the reaction of Osmeña to leave the Liberal Party is like a big slap on their faces.We can conclude Vilma is right because if the intention of the couple is for the good of everybody, nobody should stop them. In politics, anybody is a friend although he might be an enemy before.
The same thing is so with Bongbong Marcos who is joining the Nacionalista Party (NP)under Manny Villar. Satur Ocampo has been lined up with them as one of the Senatoriables. The entrance of Marcos with the NP puzzled him. As we all remember, Ocampo is a critic to the Marcos administration before. Is working under one roof by people of different belief possible?
